The Mini extractor is designed for varnish, fume and dust removal, for use in conservation studio's, laboratories and workshops. The spring assisted arms, made from rigid polypropylene, have a rotating mounting and tilting head. This allows the unit to be used in confined spaces, over tables, work benches and easels. The arm reach is up to 1100mm, with base dimensions 875 high x 550 deep x 510 width. A wall or table mounted version is available where floor space is restricted.
The 574 extractor fan has a potential rate of extraction of up to 350 cubic metres per hour and yet is very quiet in operation at 65db (A) at 1 metre. It is capable of operating up to 2 mini extractor arms with little loss of extraction per arm. This can be controlled by the variable damper provided on each head.
The new integral filter box system can be provided where the output cannot be ducted to the exterior environment. These are disposable, with a life of several months, dependent on the absorption of fumes or dusts into the activated charcoal elements (suitable for hydrocarbon or solvent fumes).
Complies with COSHH regulations in providing an extraction system which prevents exposure to hazardous substances both to yourself and colleagues working in the same environment.
