New, pencil slim, fluorescent tubes (7mm diameter) are incorporated with
good colour rendition and colour temperatures of 3,000K, 4,000K or 6,000K.
The lamps have a long life averaging 8,000 hours.
The electronic control gear gives zero flicker, high efficiency and cool
operation for continuous use, meeting latest EMC regulations, with CE
certification. These picture lights emit little heat (or harmful UV) whereas
traditional picture lights can be highly damaging to works of art.
The head is mounted to the integral wall box which houses the slim-line
electronic ballast. Choices of finish are either Satin White Polyester
powder coated or Gold plate (illustrated). Installation and maintenance
costs are low due to a simple and functional design. Picture Lights are
available in a wide range of sizes, as shown in the chart below, or custom
made sizes, alternative colours and finishes such as varnished gilt etc.
